Overview

The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional will work alongside the Director of Golf and the Head Golf Professionals to deliver an exceptional Total Golf Experience to the members and guests of Saucon Valley Country Club. Specific responsibilities include a primary focus on Junior Golf. This role will assist with all mixed tournaments, Ladies Golf, accessory and hard good business, and Member Games. All other roles are consistent in supporting the overall needs within the golf operation.

Experience Required

• Class A PGA Member or Apprentice working towards Class A.
• Polished and professional demeanor in manner and appearance.
• Solid judgement and ability to anticipate members and guests needs.
• Skilled in multi-tasking.
• Excellent communication and member service skills.
• High attention to detail and great organizational skill.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, ForeTees, and Golf Genius Tournament System).

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Instruction with junior golf camps and clinics.
• Supporting responsibility for Ladies Golf Association Events.
• Supporting responsibility for mixed golf events.
• Supporting responsibility for all member games.
• Supporting responsibility for accessories and hard goods business.
• Support of the overall golf operation and Total Golf Experience.
• Knowledgeable of members preferences and anticipates their needs.
• Provides the highest level of service to Club members and guests, while ensuring member and guest expectations are met or exceeded.
