Seeking a Assistant Professional that wants to grow and learn all aspects of golf operations. It's important we align with a long term partner in success that one day wants to become a Class A PGA Professional. Professional duties include, assisting active ladies and men's leagues, acitive tournament operations, assist with PGA Junior League and clinics and other duties designated by the Head Golf Professional.

Sugar Valley Golf Club - Bellbrook, Ohio

Founded in 1968, Sugar Valley Golf Club has been a long standing private golf club in the Miami Valley, featuring a 6,567 yard 18-hole course winding through the peaks and valleys of Sugar Creek Township. In 2018, Sugar Valley Golf Club constructed a new 15,000 square foot clubhouse, featuring a 200+ person ballroom, newly constructed proshop and simulator rooms. In the fall of 2024, the club was purchased by Dalton & Melissa Dodd. The Dodd's also own and operate Jasper Hills Golf Club and Jasper Kitchen + Bar of Xenia, Ohio. The Dodd's completed extensive renovations to the clubhouse and course during the winter of 2024 to put Sugar Valley on the map as one of the highest valued private clubs in the Miami Valley. At the time of transfer in November 2024, the club rostered 285 full golfing members and 72 social members. As of February 2026, Sugar Valley has grown to 345 golfing members and 150 social members and continues its growth trajectory today.

Experience Required

• Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules and tournament operations
• Customer service focused
• Experienced computer skills including, Microsoft products, POS systems, and email.
• Golf Genius Tournament software is a plus

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with Opening and Closing procedures
• Assist with golfer check-in, fee collection, tee sheet management and phone calls
• Assist with inventory control
• Conduct onself in a professional manner at all times
• Conduct onself to maintain a professional image at all times
• Play golf with a varity of members and guests in competitive and non-competitive situations
