About the Position:

The Assistant Golf Professional at Mount Vernon Country Club will be involved in every aspect of the golf operation. This position reports to the Head Professional, and will work closely with other members of the professional team to provide an exceptional member and guest experience through a variety of events, instruction and merchandising programs.

In addition to assisting with all daily golf operation duties, this position will have ample opportunities within tournament operations, junior golf, private instruction, club fitting, club repair, starting daily play, coordinating outings, merchandising, and playing golf with members.

A great emphasis is placed on networking, team building, staff education, mentorship, and work-life balance.

Meet the Pro:

Taylor Babcock is entering her 2nd season at MVCC. Previously, Taylor served as the Head Golf Professional at Farmington Country Club, in Charlottesville, VA. Her prior experience includes Belle Haven Country Club, Farmington Country Club, Indian Creek Country Club (FL), The Country Club of Fairfield, and Pine Brook Country Club. Taylor is extremely passionate about staff development, mentorship, team building, and networking.
