Overview

The Club at Glenmore, located in Keswick, VA just on the outskirts of Charlottesville is a private facility renowned for its exceptional golf course, practice facilities and Rotella/Fedder Academy. The club is looking for an entry level Assistant Professional or Level 1 Associate to join the team and deliver first-class customer service to the membership and guests.

Experience Required

• No experience in the industry required but must have the desire to actively pursue PGA Membership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Club repair experience a plus but not required
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf & rules of golf
• Strong organizational skills

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf Professional in all Golf Operations
• Assist the Director of Instruction (DOI) and Teaching Professionals with all group clinics
• Conduct group Junior Golfer's Clinics assigned by the DOI
• Assist in Association Golf Management
• Assist in Tournament Operations
• Tee Sheet Management, Check-In
• Responsible for opening & closing the golf shop
• Assist in Merchandising, Management & Inventory Control
• Assist in managing outside staff and outside golf operations including Golf Cart Fleet management
• Assist in the Practice Facilities Operation
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
