Description
OverviewThe Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is just 25 minutes northwest of the famed Las Vegas Strip. This international golf destination is serving up the ultimate trio of magnificent, championship golf courses sculpted by World Golf Hall of Fame architect Pete Dye. These courses are his only pure designs in Nevada.
The Assistant Golf Professional reports to the Head Golf Professional. This individual will be involved in all aspects of executing a 1st Class Golf Operation, beginning with providing a warm, friendly, and professional member and guest service experience at all time.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for service and the game, with a strong desire to obtain a head golf professional position of their own in the near future. Professional development will be a focal point, with opportunities to enhance one's skill set and gain experience in high-level management to prepare for the career step. This individual must have the availability to work any day of the week.
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 years of experience as an assistant golf professional.
• Applicant must be highly motivated to become a PGA Member and actively working through PGA/PGM Program.
• Have a passion to grow as a golf professional.
• Familiarity with Golf POS software, Microsoft applications, and email.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an engaging and outgoing personality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency in communication of all kinds Ex. Speech, email, and phone
- Ez Links POS experience a plus
- Organized and efficient with completion of delegated tasks
- Time management and scheduling aptitude
- Problem resolution skills
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with all facets of resort guest
- Established track record of providing superior customer service
