Overview

Brenham Country Club is an 18-hole member owned club with 378 members. The club is managed by Sterling Golf. The club was originally founded in the 1920's and moved to it's current location in 1950. The original 9 holes were designed by Ralph Plummer. In 1996 an additional 9 holes were added to complete the present day 18 hole layout.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Golf Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about golf and have a proven track record of providing exceptional instruction and customer service to members and guests of Brenham Country Club. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth of the club.

Experience Required

• Willing to work toward and obtain PGA Membership
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in tournament operations and golf instruction
• Knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software
• Retail management experience is a plus
• Ability to build relationships with members and staff

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf Professional in overseeing all golf operations including tournaments, member programming, golf instruction, golf carts and golf shop management.
• Assist in hiring, training and developing staff.
• Provide high-quality golf instruction and player developement programming.
• Assist in organizing and managing club tournaments and outings.
• Foster a positive and engaging golf environment for members and guests.
• Maintain and promote golf shop sales and merchandising.
• Work directly with the Head Golf Professional to enhance the overall member and guest experience.
