Wellesley Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This individual will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and Senior Professional Staff to ensure the highest standards of service, efficiency, and member satisfaction across all areas of the golf operation.

Wellesley Country Club, founded in 1910 and originally designed by renowned architect Donald Ross, offers a premier golf and recreational experience. The Club features an 18-hole championship course, a 6-hole par-3 course, a full driving range, two practice putting greens, and state-of-the-art simulator bays. Members also enjoy exceptional racquets and pool facilities, along with an extensive and thoughtfully curated dining program.

The Club hosts approximately 26,000 rounds of golf annually and conducts more than 100 tournaments each year, including Men's events, Women's 18- and 9-hole events, mixed tournaments, junior golf programs, and a variety of charitable outings that bring our community together.

Position Overview
The Assistant Golf Professional plays a key role in supporting and executing all aspects of daily golf operations. Areas of focus include-but are not limited to-exceptional customer service, tournament administration, merchandising, retail sales, individual and group instruction, monitoring pace of play, starting duties, and participating in rounds with members. Additional responsibilities include oversight of the golf cart fleet and facilities, bag room operations, practice facility maintenance, and the training and supervision of seasonal staff.

Wellesley Country Club is committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance for our professional staff. We strive to maintain a five-day work week, with weekly hours typically ranging from 40 to 50. While on duty, employees receive complimentary meals, and all required uniforms are provided by the Club. Assistant Professionals enjoy full practice and playing privileges, and the Club covers PGA dues as part of our commitment to continued professional development. A small education reimbursement is also available to support ongoing learning and career growth.
