Description
OverviewThe Assistant Golf Professional role is a full-time, year-round opportunity within a dedicated team. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience across all facets of the golf operation, supporting their continued professional development and long-term career advancement. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to tournament operations, merchandising, private and group instruction, club fitting, and the daily management of member play. While 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, the club is willing to provide additional training and support for the right individual.

Qualifications
- Positive, engaging, and service-oriented demeanor with a genuine commitment to elevating the member experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport quickly with a high-end, discerning membership.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism, poise, and hospitality in all interactions.
- PGA Associate or Class A Member (or actively pursuing membership) preferred.
- Experience in golf operations, tournament administration, merchandising, or teaching.
- Solid understanding of the game of golf, rules, etiquette, and best practices for service on the course and in the golf shop.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with golf operations software, POS systems, and basic computer skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning, personal growth, and long-term professionalism in the golf industry.
