Kingswood Golf Club is located in the beautiful New England town of Wolfeboro NH. A 1915 Donald Ross Design always in immpecable shape. One of the "Best" Courses in the NH "Lakes Region". Wolfeboro is "Americas oldest Summer resort".

Position:

The Assistant Golf Professional will assist the Director of Golf to oversee and manage all aspects of the golf operation. The Position will promote an exceptional golf experience and provide premiere customer services to all members and guests. Year Round possibility for right candidite with Indoor facility opportunity in winter months

April 15th-November 15th

Experience Required

High School Education

Minimum 2 years as an Assistant Golf Professional at a New England Golf Club

Prefer candidate familiar with New England Area and NEPGA

Club and DOG Support Career Development

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee the golf operation in the absence of the Director of Golf.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, upbeat attitude providing excellent member/ customer service
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, and training of inside and outside staff
• Daily supervision of all staff
• Responsible for scheduling inside and outside staff personnel
• Oversee the golf shop. Incuding daily tee time management, golf services and operations, monitoring pace of play, enforce rules and regulations of golf course and golf cart useage
• Utilize cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets, inventory and resources
• Marketing and promotion of all golf related events
• Assist with Publication of Member Newsletter, informational and promotional materieals and utilization of social media
• Document, save and approve all bi weekly golf time sheets for payroll
• Club Fitting/ Repair- provide basic repair and club fitting services
• Assist in outside operations as needed in Spring and Fall (shoulder) months

Tournament Operations-

• Manage and prepare leagues and tournaments with Golf Genius Software
• Prepare, Operate, Post Operations of all leagues and tournaments
• Marketing of all tournaments
• High communicative details coordinating with outside tournaments (Charity events, NH State events) to ensure each event is a well organized and profesional event.
