Athens Country Club is a full-service, private facility with comprehensive, traditional country club amenities including 27 holes of golf (18 by Donald Ross; 9 by George Cobb). Athens is located 65 miles from Atlanta, GA, is home to the University of Georgia, is consistently recognized as an attractive community to reside, and is ranked in the Top 20 in a variety of categories including: cost of living, college towns, music, food, health care, and retirement. The club offers classic, yet relaxed, Southern hospitality and has a longstanding tradition of providing the finest services and amenities to our membership. Athens CC continues to enjoy a sterling reputation and has hosted numerous national, regional, and state golf championships. Athens CC was founded in 1926.

Experience Required

Bachelor' degree perferred, but not required. Private club experience preferred, but not required.

Essential Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist and have an active role in all aspects of a traditional, full-service private club golf operations including:• Providing excellent service & hospitality• Event management• Merchandising• Teaching• Playing w/ members• Club fitting• Staff Management - Outside Operations• Media Platform management The successful candidate is expected to exhibit the following qualities:• Pleasant & Professional presentation• Team Oriented• Strong work ethic• Detail oriented• Excellent interpersonal skills• Career oriented
