Overview

Located in Villanova Pennsylvania, Radnor Valley Country Club has proudly served its members for over 70 years. The original golf course, designed by Dick Wilson in 1953, was redesigned by Bill and Dave Gordon in 1966 to accommodate the near by construction of Interstate 476. This new layout remained untouched until 1995, when architect Jim Blockavitch rebuilt six greens to USGA specifications, enhancing playability and preserving the course's character. RVCC is now home to a 18-hole championship course, indoor/outdoor tennis facilities, fitness center, pool, dining venues, and more. The club is currently home to 400 members, 300 golf members and hosts 12,000 - 14,000 rounds a year including outings and tournaments.

Joining our team as the Assistant Golf Professional means playing a key role in managing day-to-day golf operations with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and member satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, energetic, and driven to succeed in the golf industry. Responsibilities include an essential role in the club's tournament operations, daily tee sheet management, golf shop merchandising, providing instruction and coaching, heavy junior golf program involvement, and engaging with members on and off the course.

Start date for this position will be as early as March 1, 2026 and will be a year round position except for the month of January when the club is closed.

Experience Required

• 1-2 years as an Assistant Golf Professional
• PGA Associate or Member
• Desire to move up in the golf business and succeed
• Experience with Golf Genius Tournament software
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher
• Knowledge of the golf swing and club fitting preferred

Essential Responsibilities

• Help manage the club's tournament operations
• Support all aspects of the junior golf program
• Conduct lessons and clinics for members of all skill levels
• Play and practice to further develop as a golf professional
• Provide consistent, proactive service to members and guests
• Adhere to golf operations policies and procedures
• Maintain a tidy and presentable personal appearance
• Communicate effectively with colleagues
• Help keep the golf shop tidy and organized
• Manage inventory and restock items on the floor
• Assist customers with product selection and special orders
• Work closely with the Head Professional, gaining hands-on experience in all golf operations
