Overview

Lake Hefner Golf Course is a 36-hole public facility. We will be moving into a new clubhouse in early 2026. Phase one includes: golf shop, grab-and-go restaurant, and a full-service restaurant upstairs with two golf simulators. Phase two of the project includes: new cart barn, event center above the cart barn, covered bays on the driving range, and lights on the driving range.
Our staff members are expected to make Lake Hefner a destination for exceptional golf experiences, gracious services, and unrivaled value.

Experience Required

Lake Hefner is currently looking for an Assistant Golf Professional. This person will work closely with the Head Golf Professional, and other staff members on carrying out the daily operation of the facility.

• PGA Member, or Associate in good standing.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge in Golf Genius and Golf Shop POS.

Essential Responsibilities

• Opening/closing the Golf Shop
• Assisting in the daily operation of the facility
• Tournament operations (tournament set-up in Golf Genius, printing cart signs/scorecards, scoreboards)
• Checking in and displaying Golf Shop merchandise
• Participation in golf camps.
• Individual Golf Lessons and Club Fittings.
• Monitoring and enforcing pace of play on the golf course using Visage
• Training, scheduling, and management of golf shop staff and outside service staff
• Work as directed
