Overview

Walden Ponds Golf Club is looking to hire for the full-time position of Assistant Golf Professional to assist the Head Golf Professional in the management of the golf operations.

Walden Ponds Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18-hole facility located just outside of Hamilton, OH.

Experience Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• College Degree Preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf
• Prior experience in golf is a plus
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Must have evening, weekend, and holiday availability
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak season

The responsibilities of the Assistant Professional include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the supervision and management of the outside services staff and the golf operations.
• Manage the tee sheet, collect payments, and sell merchandise while providing guests excellent customer service.
• Help to oversee the entire golf department to ensure all daily responsibilities are being completed and we are providing a top level service to our guests.
• Assist in the management and organization of the golf shop and merchandise.
• Ensure the Golf Shop is operated in a neat, clean, and efficient manner
• Assist in the running and organization of tournaments, outings, and leagues.
