Overview

Indian Trails Country Club is a semi-private golf facility, offering a challenging 18-hole golf course 1.8 miles south of Beemer Nebraska. Overlooking the beautiful Elkhorn River Valley, the course, clubhouse and lounge offer breathtaking views. Indian Trails is a Golf Digest 4 star rated golf course that offers a full range of amenities which include: Driving Range, Chipping and Putting Green, Lessons, Jr. Golf, Tournament Operations, Reception Hall and Bar.

The Assistant Golf Professional position is seasonal. The season March 1st through November 1st.

Hours will vary, but ideally would be around 45/week, depending on the facilities needs and how many hours the Assistant Pro would like to work.

Experience Required

PGA Member, PGA Apprentice or individual with some experience in the golf industry who aspires to become a Head Professional, Director of Golf, or GM.

Ability to teach golf to individuals, groups, and juniors.
Knowledge of golf equipment.
Strong customer relations skills.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of day to day operations.
• Opening and closing procedures.
• Oversee golf shop & range staff.
• Tee time reservations.
• Tee sheet/Tournament management.
• Working bar/concessions area.
• Merchandising/retail golf equipment sales.
• League Administration.
• Primary/Lead Golf Instructor including junior camps.
