Our world-class professional staff is committed to delivering the highest standards of service and creating a premier golf experience for all. We are seeking a driven Assistant Golf Professional, seasonal or year-round, to join our team. This position provides the opportunity to contribute across all areas of golf operations, including member engagement, tournament and event coordination, outside services, merchandising, and player development.

Experience Required

• 1-4 years of experience in golf operations at a private club.
• PGA or LPGA Member in good standing.
• A four-year college degree is preferred.
• Experience with staff management, coaching, and development.
• Proficiency in golf management systems such as Club Essentials, Foretees, and Golf Genius, along with Microsoft Office.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with members, guests, and visitors, upholding Coldstream's dedication to member satisfaction.
• Uphold and promote Coldstream's values of professionalism, relationship building, and service excellence.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of golf operations, club policies, and member expectations.
• Enforce club rules and regulations, ensuring a high standard of decorum.
• Represent the club professionally in all daily interactions with members and colleagues.
• Organize and manage member tournaments, golf events, and outings, actively promoting participation and enthusiasm for club activities.
• Coordinate with outside organizations hosting events at Coldstream.
• Prepare and distribute member communications, updates, and announcements.
• Assist with all aspects of the golf shop, including inventory management, merchandise display, product knowledge, special orders, and more.
• Provide golf instruction to members of all skill levels, continually honing your teaching abilities.
• Play golf with members and guests to foster relationships and enhance your own skills.
• Serve as a starter and player assistant as needed, ensuring smooth course play.
• Maintain accurate play counts and billing records.
• Support the outside services team in maintaining Coldstream's high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Oversee daily operations of outside services, including range attendants, starters, and course monitors.
• Assist with merchandising duties, including restocking displays and club repair services.
• Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Golf.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with sound judgment in decision-making.
• Strong team player with a commitment to excellence.
• In-depth knowledge of the game of golf, including rules and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently during busy periods.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must withstand exposure to weather elements and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
• Proficiency in operating golf carts and related equipment.
• 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying schedules based on club needs.
