Overview

Penfield Country Club is a private club on the east side of Rochester, NY. We are an active member-owned country club that does approximately 20,000 rounds per season. We have very active programs for Men, Women and Jr golfers. We recently completed a full-bunker renovation that has transformed our course into one of the best in the Rochester area. The golf course measures almost 6700 yards from the championship tees and is a par 71. Our golf season runs from April through November

Approximate employment length will be 30-32 weeks, depending on candidate.

Work-Life Balance is very important to us; on average your work week will be 5 days one week and 6 days the next week alternating so you have a weekend day off every other week in addition to your regular day off each week.

Experience Required

• Private or Semi-Private Club experience
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Golf Genius Software a plus
• Teaching all abilities
• PGA Associate Program - Level 1 or Higher
• PGA Member is a PLUS

Essential Responsibilities

The position will require the individual to have:

• Strong customer service skills and a passion for the game of golf.
• Work closely with other Staff Members in
• Tournament Operations,
• Junior Programing,
• Merchandising, Inventory controls, POS System
• Delivering a high-level golf experience to the Membership. A "Team" mentality is a must!
• Assist with outside operation staff
• Monday outings
• Men's, Women's & Jr Leagues
