Overview

Boca Delray Golf & Country Club is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Professional. This assistant golf professional position will expose you to all aspects of our golf operation in preparation to advance your career in the golf industry. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for the game of golf and the golf industry.

Boca Delray Country Club is a "Hidden Gem" 18 hole Executive course located in Delray Beach. The course features six par 4's and 12 challanging par three's, with water on 15 holes. BDR is a semi private facility with a loyal following of outside play. The course in know for excellent playing conditions, challenging shot making and excellent pace of play, with rounds being completed in 2:45 minutes.

Experience Required

• Experienced PGA apprentice that is actively seeking PGA membership.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Golf Genius, the GHIN handicap system, and the USGA Rules of Golf.
• 2+ years of experience in the golf industry.
• Strong customer service skills.

Essential Responsibilities

The Assistant Golf Professional at Boca Delray Country Club will assist the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf operations. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Provide high-level customer service to all members and guests while promoting the game of golf.
Daily Golf Shop Operations.
Provide private and group instruction to members.
Supervision and training of Outside Operations Staff.
Execute and run member events/tournaments.
