Description

• Assist in daily course setup, mowing operations, and quality control to ensure tournament-level playing conditions.
• Apply and track fertilizers and pesticides, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Operate, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including hand-watering and moisture monitoring.
• Scout for turf disease, insects, and other agronomic issues; recommend corrective measures.
• Supervise and train seasonal and full-time staff, promoting efficiency, safety, and attention to detail.

• Qualifications:
  
  • 2-3 years of golf course maintenance experience required.
  • Turfgrass Management degree or certificate preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Must obtain a Maryland Pesticide Applicator License within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality course presentation.
  • Experience with Toro or similar irrigation systems a plus.
