Overview

Trevecca Nazarene University is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Coach to support the Director of Golf in all facets of the men's and women's golf programs. This is a full-time, year-round position offering a competitive salary. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in player development, successful recruitment of student-athletes, and maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and sportsmanship within the program. The candidate must also algin with the values of Trevecca Nazarene University.

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree required (as noted in the Job Details section).
• 2+ years of experience in coaching, teaching, or competitive golf, preferably at the collegiate level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• PGA/LPGA Membership or Apprentice status is preferred, but not required.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Golf with planning, organizing, and conducting team practices and training sessions.
• Provide individual and group instruction to enhance player performance and skill development.
• Actively participate in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes in compliance with University and NCAA guidelines.
• Travel with the team for all competitions and assist with on-course coaching.
• Manage team equipment, budget expenditures, and travel logistics as assigned.
• Foster a positive and competitive team culture that prioritizes academic success.
