The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming guest experience from the moment guests arrive to the moment they depart. This position oversees the daily operations of the Front Office, including supervising the front desk team, managing cash handling procedures, monitoring staffing levels, and ensuring exceptional guest service at all times.
In this role, you'll support the development and success of the Front Office team through hands‑on training, coaching, and performance feedback. You'll assist with scheduling, help resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care, and work closely with other hotel departments to maintain smooth operations. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates with ease, and is passionate about creating a warm, memorable stay for every guest and colleague.
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of one-year previous supervisory experience
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull a moderate amount of weight
