The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment engages prospective students interested in Villanova's campus and online graduate programs, assisting with the yield of high-caliber students. This role supports admissions and recruitment for the multi-modal graduate programs in the College of Engineering. In conjunction with College of Engineering leadership, the Assistant Director ensures target enrollment and revenue goals for these respective programs are achieved.The Assistant Director is responsible for generating and assessing prospective candidate leads, and for building and maintaining relationships with candidates across the enrollment timeline, from inquiry to deposit. This role collaborates with faculty, the Graduate Studies Office, and the Marketing and Communications Office to recruit and engage prospective graduate students.The Assistant Director delivers information sessions and presentations. They also represent the College's graduate programs at regional and national events both in person and online to strengthen and expand the admissions pipeline. Additionally, the Assistant Director also utilizes technology to effectively manage inquiry, admissions, and enrollment workflows, generating metrics and reports to monitor progress toward enrollment goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:Recruitment Pipeline, Communication & Data-Driven Enrollment Management
- Manage graduate-level student recruitment channels for the College, which includes building relationships and managing the prospective graduate student pool.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to follow up promptly via phone, email and text with inquiries. Provide feedback on lead quality from specific campaigns.
- Develop compelling, consistent and accurate communications for prospective students across a variety of channels.
- Act as an ambassador for Villanova University and the College of Engineering, ensuring all communications reflect the institution's brand and values.
- Leverage technology to convert inbound leads across inquiry, application, and acceptance stages while managing workflows and generating metrics to track progress towards enrollment goals.
- Manage and maintain data through the admissions process.
- Responsible for providing timely enrollment updates to leadership including metrics regarding conversion and attrition rates.
- Work with College leadership to develop and implement strategies to ensure target enrollment and revenue goals are met.
Strategic Outreach and Relationship Development
- Develop and continuously refine deep understanding in the College of Engineering's graduate and combined master's/bachelor's programs, with a particular emphasis on the multimodal MS and PhD offerings.
- Organize, coordinate and execute recruitment events ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for participants.
- Create and deliver comprehensive information sessions and presentations across in-person and online platforms.
- Represent College graduate programs at recruitment and diversity-related events including but not limited to University open houses, industry tradeshows, professional organizations, and events with colleges and universities relevant to prospective graduate student population.
- Create and maintain feeder school and pipeline relationships with institutions and businesses.
- Leverage relationships to impact and increase the admissions pipeline.
- Work with the Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment to manage the logistics of the recruiting schedule.
Other
- Support the Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment in developing strategic partnerships for corporate-specific programs in continuing education and graduate degrees in collaboration with Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, college external relations, and college faculty members.
- Work with the Office of Graduate Students to optimize processes and ensure a smooth transition from prospect to applicant to enrolled student.
- Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree required
Work Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant and applicable work experience in a professional environment required.
- Must have demonstrated experience executing admissions/recruiting strategies and tactics.
- Strong presentation skills with proven experience.
- Experience developing targeted and effective communications for prospective students.
- Demonstrated expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing events.
- Skilled at cultivating and managing positive relationships with various constituents.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret analytics to inform decisions.
- Must be accustomed to working toward demanding admissions, recruitment and communication goals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in tracking recruiting metrics and analytics and translating results into reports for leadership.

Equipment Knowledge:
- Proficiency in all standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Zoom and other videoconferencing services.
- General office equipment.
Other:
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as the demands of the job dictate.

Work Experience
- Direct experience in admissions and recruiting at an institution of higher education, preferably at the graduate school level for both online and campus programs
- Experience recruiting in an organization/corporation, preferably for remote and onsite positions.
- Knowledge of learning or working in a remote environment and understanding of the associated benefits and challenges.
- Knowledge and experience with CRM system(s) such as Slate and/or any other state-of-the-art platforms to track and enhance prospective student engagement.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as the demands of the job dictate.
