Job Summary
Manages student recruitment activities. Develops effective programs and plans; analyzes prospective student admissions. Corresponds and meets with prospective students. Travels, as necessary, for recruitment activities and events.
Essential Functions
Develop and strengthen relationships with prospective students, families, alumni, and other constituencies to improve enrollment, retention, and engagement.
Be an effective communicator, developing and implementing creative and innovative strategies to connect with target audiences.
Focus on evaluating and assessing goals, analyzing partnerships, and making recommendations to update existing practices.
Use technology (Panther Link) to communicate effectively and efficiently with various audiences.
Navigate complex conditions with tact and diplomacy, maintaining a service-oriented environment.
Make independent decisions and apply critical thinking skills to impact enrollment, retention, and brand strengthening efforts.
Represent the University both domestically and internationally, focusing on presentations and relationship building with students, families, and alumni.
Coordinate and participate in activities related to the recruitment and selection of student applicants.
Develop and implement recruiting and admission plans and oversee special project activities.
Analyze qualifications of prospective students based on established admissions standards.
Correspond and meet with prospective students and applicants to provide information on admissions standards and programs.
Determine appropriate recruitment event attendance and travel for receptions, forums, and presentations.
Prepare reports analyzing progress, trends, and making appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Physical Effort
Mobility with regard to possible travel within the United States and internationally. Valid driver's license is required. May be required to carry a box of material (up to 50 lbs.) from car and/or from building to building or between floors.
