Assistant County Attorney – Monroe County Attorney’s Office
Live and work in the Florida Keys. The Monroe County Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for an assistant county attorney position in the Key West office. Experience with insurance defense, civil litigation, labor and employment law, risk management, public procurement and contracts will receive priority consideration.
Membership in good standing with The Florida Bar required. Board Certification in City, County, & Local Govt. Law or other related field is preferred. The office employs 4 levels of assistant county attorneys ranging from Assistant County Attorney I (entry level) to Senior Assistant County Attorney (20 years experience with 15 years representing Florida local govt. entity) with salaries ranging from $103,105 to $245,898, depending on experience and qualifications. Monroe County offers an excellent benefits package and is a member of the Florida Retirement System (FRS).
