Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania is looking for Assistant Camp Directors for our 2026 summer camp season at Camp Conshatawba (Summerhill, PA), Camp Hawthorne Ridge (Girard, PA), and Camp Skymeadow (Avonmore, PA).

Requirements

The Assistant Camp Director assists the camp director in the administration of the camp. Helps to plan and carry out staff training and supervises all staff. Minimum age required is 21.

Qualifications:

       Experience in developing and facilitating outdoor education and programs for youth

       Experience working with children in a youth or outdoor education capacity

       Demonstrated maturity, sound judgement, integrity, and flexibility

       Willingness to adhere to the principles of Girl Scouting, the Girl Scout Promise, and the Girl Scout Law

       Background checks and driving record check required

       Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, surroundings, and circumstances in a quick and effective manner
