Special Skills: Must be organized and able to work without constant supervision. Have the ability to learn quickly.

Position : Administrative Assistant
Travel: less than 20%
Location: Crystal City, VA
Pay Range: $18.00/hr-$25.00/hr (Based on experience)
We are currently seeking a Administrative Assistant to join our Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. team. Qualified candidates must be organized self-starter with the ability to work without close supervision. This position will report to the Administrative Manager and work closely with the Project Manager and the Project Engineer. Responsible for providing contact, administrative and clerical services for the project management team and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. Support project team operations by preparing, coordinating, distributing and tracking contract documents, reports and communications.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Qualifications:
- High School graduate or G.E.D.; Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Experience as an administrative assistant
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; Ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of Viewpoint and OnBase a plus
- Bilingual a plus
Essential Functions
- Provide contract and administrative support.
- Compose, proofread/edit correspondence.
- Gather data, input, develop and distribute reports.
- Develop and maintain various tracking/compliance systems.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, invoicing, and accounts payable for materials and supplies.
- Point of contact for company electronic devices to include ordering/upgrading, billing, and troubleshooting.
- Order and maintain office supply inventory as well as setting up accounts.
- Problem solve/maintenance of copiers, fax machines, plotters, etc.
- Responsible for company mail to include receiving, opening and routing, FedEx and/or UPS online for sending packages by ground service or overnight service.
- Direct inquires and incoming phone calls to appropriate parties using multi-line system.
Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level and must be able to bend, squat and kneel occasionally throughout the scheduled work shift
- Position requires ability to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands, requires acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing.
- Requires sitting a major portion of an 8-hour day, with standing and walking required in performance of various tasks less frequent than sitting portion of work shift.
- Depresses computer keyboard keys and/or calculator.
- Picks up, holds and lays down telephone handset.
- Must be able to reach, lift and stretch throughout the work day.
- Clear and comprehensible speech required in order to communicate adequately in performance of this job.
