Overview

Woodland Golf Club features a classic Donald Ross-designed golf course that opened in 1896 and boasts a rich, storied history. Woodland is uniquely recognized as the only club to have had three U.S. Amateur champions as members and as the home club of Francis Ouimet.

In addition to its championship golf course, Woodland offers outstanding amenities including tennis, paddle, swimming, fine dining, and state-of-the-art indoor TrackMan simulators. Our goal is to provide an exceptional member experience each and every day.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2-4 years as an Assistant Golf Professional at a private club
• PGA of America Class A Member or PGA Associate (Level 2 preferred)
• Proficient in Golf Genius tournament software
• Familiarity with Jonas Club Management software
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Prior golf retail experience, including merchandising and inventory management

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf Professional in the overall management of daily golf operations, ensuring a high standard of member and guest service
• Directly supervise golf staff, including training, scheduling, and daily oversight
• Oversee and assist with Outside Operations
• Assist with golf shop point-of-sale operations, inventory control, special orders, tee time reservations, and club repair
• Assist with the organization and management of weekly leagues and major club tournaments
• Plan and execute tournaments using Golf Genius software
• Run junior golf clinics and assist with junior golf and women's clinic programming
• Enforce and manage pace-of-play policies
• Assume leadership of golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional
